The archival holdings of the Old York Road Historical Society cover the history of the
communities along the Old York Road from the late 17th century through to the present day.
While the collections contain basic research materials on Philadelphia and Bucks Counties,
the vast majority of the collections cover the history of the communities along the Old York
Road in Eastern Montgomery County.
The policies of the Society regarding access to the collections are meant to balance the
needs of present-day researchers with the stewardship responsibilities of the Society to
ensure that the materials will be available to future generations.
The Society is always interested in adding to its base of primary source material and
donations are most welcome.
